Tanino will discover that ...。二战遗孤登川（宍戸錠饰）从中国返回日本后，不久便遁入黑道。因犯下累累罪行，登川最终锒铛入狱，不久却被恶德律师伊藤保释出狱。原来某黑帮头目垂涎马会高达1亿2千万的现金，因此指示伊藤救出登川，企图让他劫持马会的运钞车。为了给在医院中的妹妹梨枝（松原智恵子饰）治病，登川接受了这项危险重重的任务。他找到了白井（小高雄二饰）、冈田（井上昭文饰）、寺本（草薙幸二郎饰）等人，制定了一份详细的劫持计划。初步的行动虽然进展顺利，但是状况频发，所有的人都置于了危险之地。正所谓人为财死，鸟为食亡…… 本片根据大藪春彦的小说改编。。
