分上下集，这是1977年版剧情介绍根据陈其通同名话剧改编。 1927年大革命失败，毛主席领导了秋收起义，建了井冈山革命根据地，带领工农红军成功粉碎了蒋介石的四次“围剿”。此时，王明篡夺了红军的指挥权，导致红军的第五次反“围剿”失败。红军被迫长征。1934年冬，红军到达湘江时，已由原来的7万多人减至3万。泰山营在望阳滩与敌人奋战数十次。部队损失惨重，情况危急。此时，赵志方连长从毛主席处带回消息，命泰山营为全军突围开路，挺进敌人力量薄弱的遵义。遵义会议批判了王明机会主义路线，确立了毛主席的领导地位。在毛主席的指挥下，回攻遵义，红军取得了长征路上的第一个胜仗。后又四渡赤水，巧渡金沙江，顺利通过彝族区，战胜天险大渡河，与四方面军胜利会合。在经过激烈的斗争后，终于率先与红十五军团在陕北会合。1937年1月，三大主力红军与陕北红军终于在陕北胜利会师，举世闻名...。‘Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable’ charts the story behind Damien Hirst’s most ambitious project to date.
