少女杜心羽（潘之琳饰）出生在贫困的家庭之中，靠着送外卖维持生计补贴家用。一次偶然中，杜心羽在送外卖的途中遇到了玩世不恭的大少爷唐正浩（朱梓骁饰），两人在误打误撞之下结下了梁子。 杜心羽于无意之中见识到了茶艺大师阿飞的功夫，对茶艺产生了浓厚的兴趣，虽然母亲一直希望杜心羽能够重新返回学校重拾学业，可对茶艺的热情让杜心羽瞒着母亲，偷偷的报考了唐门茶园，并且最终顺利的成为了阿飞老师的弟子。哪知道，在茶园里，杜心羽再度遇见了唐正浩，和杜心羽不同，唐正浩是在威逼利诱之下才来茶园学艺的，两人被迫组队，开始了共同的学习生活。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
