1980年代，应届毕业生闻清（李萍 饰）在家积极复习，准备迎接次年的高考。弟弟闻涛（王保社 饰）的朋友林旷（叶晖 饰），人称“数学王子”，在串门补习中，俩人逐渐产生好感，并相互憧憬着将来的大学生活。不久，闻清如愿考进大学校园，林旷却背弃前诺，报名参军去了云南前线。这突然的变故让闻清不知所措，考虑再三，她结束了与林旷的恋爱关系。后来，传来了林旷在边境排雷触雷身亡的噩耗。一晃几年过去了，毕业的闻清有了舒适的工作和家庭。在一次偶然机会，她碰到林旷生前的战友，从其口中得知林旷英雄事迹，悔恨之情溢满心头......。When Gumdrop and Vroomer, the latest members of the Plane Scout crew, are sent on a mission by commander Gumdrop, they take off on the greatest adventure of their lives.
