In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power. Eva Näripe。《湖海争霸录》为香港丽的电视（RTV）全盛时期制作的电视剧，于1980年3月24日首播，全剧共60集。剧集由萧笙、黎大炜监制，萧若元、江龙、徐正康参与故事编撰，郑丹瑞为剧本编审，程小东、韩义生等担任武指，李惠民、范秀明、唐基明等负责编导，是当时丽的电视沿用《天蚕变》与《天龙诀》的班底，加入曾江、米雪等实力演员所推出具有野心的原创新剧，力求再造《天蚕变》及《天龙诀》的收视强势。剧中虽然有提及到《天龙诀》的内容，但故事没有必然的联系，不难看出那是电视台借“天蚕”的影响力作出的宣传噱头，若把《湖海争霸录》归成“天蚕”系列第三部，实在有点牵强了。 《湖海争霸录》的故事背景设为明万历初年，涉及张居正、高拱、朱翊钧等历史人物，主要讲述神火教、天争教、天山派、朝廷、海盗、倭寇、女真、蒙古等等势力之间的恩怨纠葛。虽然剧集标榜原创，但剧情和人物相当部分取材自《云海...。影片讲述了一个中年男人马克，在妻子的离世后独自带着女儿生活的故事。因为工作的原因，他疏于对女儿的照顾，结果让女儿发生了不少意外，对此马克感到十分自责。一次偶然的机会，他认识了一位美丽的女老师单阳，并在朋友的帮助下彼此开始相互了解。马克的真诚、善良，渐渐打动了单阳，可马克的心里却对单阳有着深深的愧疚……。
