A troupe of struggling stage actors is rehearsing for a small-town production of a play. Everything seems to be as it should until one of the cast members turns up dead. In a panic, the others try to get out, only to find they are now locked in the theater with the killer! Which one of them committed the murder, and who will get out alive?。在利用“老爸托儿所”大赚一笔后，查理（小库珀·古丁 Cuba Gooding Jr. 饰）和菲尔（保罗·瑞 Paul Rae 饰）发现，生意不像以前那么好做了。暑假将至，查理和菲尔驾车将自己的孩子们送往名叫“浮木”的夏令营，对于孩子们来说，那里是树立自信磨练意志的最佳场所。 到达目的地后，查理一行人惊讶的发现，营地里一片破败景象，而与营地一湖之隔的卡纳拉夏令营里却人头攒动。原来，卡纳拉夏令营的经营者兰斯（洛奇林·莫罗 Lochlyn Munro 饰）利用卑鄙的手段抢夺生源，孩子们在他的夏令营里不仅不会得到任何锻炼，反而会养成养尊处优的坏习惯。兰斯和查理是一对老冤家，查理决定新仇旧恨一起报，他和菲尔买下了“浮木”夏令营，决定在那里大展拳脚，重振“浮木”的雄风。。
