The judicial system hides behind claims of insufficient evidence to prosecute crimes, while journalists are the ones who provide such evide...。1992年にAICが企画・制作、当時パイオニアLDCより発売されたオリジナルビデオアニメーションシリーズ。 正史と言われるOVA「天地無用！魎皇鬼」第伍期シリーズ。 前作第四期同様AICが制作、原作者である梶島正樹が総監督を担当して、新シリーズが展開スタート。 柾木神社の跡取りである柾木天地は、ごく普通のどこにでもいる青年。 その天地に待望の弟が誕生。その名を「柾木剣士」。 異世界にひとり赴くことを宿命づけられた少年だが、そんな運命もものともせず、周囲の人々に見守られながら、すこやかに育っていった。 だが、それは天地と剣士、そして柾木家だけでなく、地球に住む正木一族と、樹雷そして宇宙に関わる者たちすべてをも巻き込む壮大な序章に過ぎなかった。。
