生物学家胡朔为救基因缺陷的儿子，研究用蚂蚁基因改善人类基因，却遭所有人否定，妻子刘幸之也离他而去。黄锦雄因病资助研究，参观实验室时蚁后逃走变异，带领蚁群攻击众人，胡朔和黄锦雄身体也开始蚁化。最终，刘幸之封锁引爆实验室，阻止了浩劫。。In the tenth series, in the second episode ("The Son'll Come Out") Michael comes out as gay to his parents, first to his father after coming home drunk then later to his mother.
