蒲柏返乡处理父亲后事，却发现小镇已经不是他离开时的那样，曾经和平宁静的邻居对当地警察的偏见和腐败都痛恨不已，在他一个死党的帮助下，开始与当地警察斗法，准备让老家重返宁静。。Charlie plays a woman, jealous over her husband's interest in another woman. She gets in the way of a cameraman, knocks over a director and a policeman, and gets thrown into a crowd of spectators at a military parade. She attacks her husband and his new flame.
