宋辽太平时期，原本是秘密组织“凤火军”培养的特工唐紫烟被安插在京都皇城司任职，在她欲隐退与夫君周乾安安度此生时，周乾安却被凤火军抓走，成为他们胁迫唐紫烟的筹码。为了救夫，唐紫烟被迫接受新任务：刺杀来访的北朝特使皇太弟。期间周乾安被凤火军射杀命丧身前，唐紫烟决心扳倒凤火军，佯装不为所动继续深入下一步刺杀计划，却惊觉接头人竟就在身边。最终唐连同皇太弟携手做局险胜凤火军，平息了一场祸乱，京都重归太平。。A group of aliens has come to Earth to learn about its population, customs, etc. To avoid detection, they have taken on human form which gives them human emotions, physical needs etc. WITHOUT the understanding of what they mean or the inhibitions normally present in humans.
