鸡贩威（夏雨）与美国华侨杰（刘丹）为同父异母兄弟，威自小被父抛弃，因此仇视回港发展和杰。由于其父留下一座复式单位，杰与妻子伦（共凯欣）、威与妻子妖（卢宛茵），长子发（周星驰）、幼子骞（李家声）被逼同住一屋，发生了不少趣事。威与杰势成水火，但他俩的至亲却发展出密切关系“妖与妖一见如故，成为闰中好友；伦的生意伙伴娴（陈嘉仪）竟是杰的情妇；骞恋上了杰的私生女，即其堂妹薏（罗明珠），关系错综复杂，最终如何解决？后威与杰因遗产问题而对簿公堂，不欢而散。直至威发觉杰被骗，两人的关系才有所突破……。主要讲述了一位拳击手，在追求拳击梦想的道路上，历经艰辛，最终成为盖世拳神的故事。剧中通过拳击手的成长经历，展示了坚持梦想、克服困难、勇往直前的精神。。A documentary potted history of WW2, the novelty here is that most of the film has been "colorized".
