Our planet is surrounded by hundreds of millions of pieces of junk moving at 17,000 miles...。一对老夫妇在村里过着平静祥和的生活，大儿子住在身边，小儿子在国外工作。两人家里的旧电视坏了，儿子给他们搬来了一台新电视，也给他们的生活带来了变化。儿子们的最终目标是想拆除老人居住的旧房子，盖一栋新房子。而年迈的父母不希望熟悉的事物发生变化，不希望他们的宝贵家园被毁。两代人的斗争将事件推向了最高点。。
