历凌峰，原是中国特警队队队员，在一次阻击国外恐怖分子的任务中，任务失败，而目睹了队友的牺牲，非常自责，选择了退役，后加入了保镖公司，成为一名保镖。富商担忧女儿刘梦瑶跟社会上不良青年接触，请凌峰做女儿的保镖。刘梦瑶对父亲的逆反心理很深，对这个突然冒出的保镖很不顺眼，却又无可奈何。俩人之间摩擦不断，但凌峰只管完成任务，不顺着你的小姐脾气，让刘子明满意，让刘梦瑶却无可奈何。刘子明让梦瑶去泰国参加MBA精英管理学的学术会。凌峰做为贴身保镖陪着梦瑶一同前往泰国。而在泰国，凌峰遭遇了那帮杀害战友的恐怖分子，以安达斯为首的恐怖份子绑架了这些富豪子女，意欲勒索赎金。凌峰为救回这些人质，于恐怖分子展开生死较量。。The subtitle of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet’s first feature, from 1965, “Only Violence Helps Where Violence Reigns,” suggests the fierce political program evoked by their rigorous aesthetic. The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich| his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely.
